Volunteering trips 2027

A two week volunteering trip (May15-29) to Bali. Week one we work on Mangrove forest restoration as part of a team of the social enterprise Bendega. Our tasks vary from planting mangroves, collecting seeds and cleaning among the mangroves. Mangroves have a crucial role in coastal protection as well as in providing the right environment for a rich biodiversity and last but not least they are important carbon sinks. Before our second week of volunteering we shall enjoy a three day stay in the area of Munduk amongst rice fileds, water falls and temples. Fully rested, the Communal forest of Kelecung and its village awaits us for "village work". Project vary from planting to minor building projects as wished by the community. This is a trip where you make a difference by supporting the local community as well as restoring the envirnoment by planting trees.
