October 2015 - Panicale, Umbria, Italy

A trip with Luca Cesarini. Olive picking coupled to the discovery of the Etruscan and Medieval culture of the area by visiting museums, churches and medieval villages. Panicale, Perugia and Assisi were jewels we discovered together. Italian classes and excellent food spiced up our days!

September/October 2015 - Massafra e Castellana Grotte, Puglia, Italy

A successful trip with a total immersion in the language thanks to Italian classes, guided visits with Italian speaking local guides and encounters with many warmhearted locals. Afternoon excursions included the Unseco city of Matera,Taranto with its old historic center and Castello Aragonese, beautiful baroc Martina Franca and jewels such as Polignano a Mare perched on the sea and the picturesque harbor of Monopoli. We remember also exciting experiences such as dancing Tarantella, cycling among olive groves and making "orecchiette" pasta.
